Volunteer Registration
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer without a supervising adult. Children, 12 and up are welcome to volunteer, but must be accompanied by an adult, 18 years of age or older.

Volunteer Task Descriptions
Set-up/Take-down:
Set-up signage throughout the venue. Place name identifiers on exhibitor tables. Set-up games. Place name identifiers on exhibitor tables.
Exhibitor Support:
Assist vendors with manning their booths during breaks and provide volunteers and exhibitors with water when necessary.
Greeters:
Assist in banding all guests and asking them if they would like to opt out of being photographed. Be well versed with the layout of the event.
Attendee Surveyor:
Survey various attendees about their AccessAbility Fest experience and more throughout the event. Questions and clipboards are provided.
Directional Hosts:
Pairs of volunteers will stand throughout the venue to answer any questions.
Entertainment Support:
Assist at entertainment stages with speakers, microphones, sound system, staging, etc.
VIP Grand Marshal Reception Monitor (Shift A only):
Check walkie-talkies in and out to team members, allow only mascots and mascots team and AccessAbility fest staff into changing area, keep food, drinks, cups and plates stocked for vendors and volunteers.
Parking Lot Attendant:
Pick up signage directing volunteers, set up canopy for volunteer shade, monitoring the parking lot confirming guests are AccessAbility fest attendees.
Photographer:
Personal Camera Required. Spend your shift capturing some specific photo requests as well as capturing the moments of AccessAbility fest. You will make sure guests are okay with having their photo taken and offer those who would rather not a smiley face sticker so that other photographers are aware of who has "opted out" of being photographed.
Volunteer HQ (Hospitality Suite)/Mascot Monitor:
Check walkie-talkies in and out to team members, allow only mascots and mascots team and AccessAbility fest staff into changing area, keep food, drinks, cups and plates stocked for vendors and volunteers.
Games:
Keep game lines organized, assist guests in playing games.
Floaters:
Floaters assist the AccessAbility fest team in any of the above positions, may assist with demonstrations as needed.
