AccessAbility Fest 2021, now in its fifteenth consecutive year, endeavors again to spotlight programs and services provided by organizations supporting individuals who face barriers to accessing resources, opportunities and independence. .
The event provides a means for: 1) sharing information, resources, ideas and support among people striving to overcome barriers derived from a mental health, developmental, sensory or physical diagnosis, their families and their caretakers; 2) highlighting the organizations that provide these services; 3) advancing public attitudes, awareness, respect and consideration of the vast diversity of individuals in our community.
The FREE five hour event will provide resources and information on subjects such as: 1) Benefits Management & Financial Planning, 2) Community Education & Public Awareness, 3) Education, 4) Employment, 5) Legal & Legislative, 6) Health & Safety, 7) Residential Options, 8) Support Services, 9) Recreation-Socialization, 10) Transportation, 11) Therapy & Rehabilitation, 12) Faith & Spirituality and more!
