We are proud to again support AccessAbility Fest because the event seeks to provide support in a way that meets Valero's philanthropic mission. Valero employees in 2011 devoted more than 143,000 volunteer hours to improving people's lives and giving back to the communities where they live and work. They are ambassadors of hope and service for organizations where Valero operates - from children's charities and senior services to grassroots civic events. Employees from every Valero location, from retail stores to refineries to corporate headquarters, are dedicated to making a difference. The needs of vulnerable populations continue to be an important part of Valero™s community involvement, and we are especially proud to support these organizations during difficult economic times.
